Clients who use Pilloo’s newly announced custom design service start by selecting the type of pillow they want to personalize. The most common choice is the custom-shaped pillow, which comes cut and sewn in the shape of the photo that’s provided; however, Pilloo also offers square, rectangular, and circular pillows for clients who want something more traditional.

Once the type of pillow is selected, clients then upload the photo or image they want to be displayed on the pillow. From there, Pilloo’s design tool generates a mock-up of the pillow that clients can edit and adjust as they see fit. After final adjustments have been made, they select the sizes and quantities of pillows that they require and submit their order. Fulfillment time on personalized pillows is typically 7 to 15 business days.

The shells of all pillows designed using Pilloo’s customization service are made with 100% polyester and soft velvet, and for the filling, high-quality stuffing materials are preferred. These materials–in combination with the advanced sublimation technique that Pilloo uses for printing–allow the pillows to be washed numerous times without losing their shape, colour, or size.

As far as what the pillows can be used for, there are many different applications. For example, the pillows make unique gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, and memorials. Many businesses also use them as promotional tools, showcasing them at tradeshows, exhibits, and pop-up experiences.
